Toyota has developed the second generation of the Safety Sense security system, and now it includes new features and technologies.
New features of Toyota Safety Sense includes the recognition of pedestrians and cyclists in the dark, as well as the detection of the edge of the roadway in the absence of markup. In general, the system has become more perfect, if compared with the package of the first generation.
Also in Safety Sense2, the ability to prevent frontal collision has been expanded. So, the system will be able to recognize the car at a speed of 10 to 180 km/h.
Integration of the system is planned for the next calendar year, but the first model on which the complex will be tested, is not announced yet. Some automotive publications say that the system's capabilities will be directly related to the place of operation of the brand's cars.
